About the art
Artist statement
The Geta porcelain series is inspired by the Japanese Geta sandals. The pot and the bowl stand on two feet as a small detail to keep the general shape as pure as possible and hight light the material. Both are made of porcelain bisque partially enameled with cobalt blue glaze.
