Theodora Alfredsdottir is a product design studio based in London.

Storytelling through objects; Theodora’s work revolves around the narrative an object can inhabit and exploring ways of objectifying that narrative. She's interested in the way an object can act as documentation of its manufacturing process; a record of what went on between the machine, tools, craftsman and material as well as it can communicate its origin and former life. In short, the object creates its own factual narrative. That often leads to the discovery of unexpected qualities as well as it gives the user a subtle opportunity to reconsider our material world and explore value in a different way.
Describe your creative process.
My creative process can be different between projects but I try not focus on the final outcome when I start. I'd rather have each step lead me to the next without putting any pressure on what the final product will be.
Who are some artists that have influenced your work?
