About the art
Artist statement
The Porsche 911 is my favorite car series so I decided to paint this man finding a old Porsche in a garage. The painting is a collage of things I put together and edited it. Also reminds me of TV shows about barn finds, I remember a few years ago seeing a show where a guy travelled around to find great cars abandoned. Then he restored the found vehicles. So I wanted to translate that joy of finding such a beautiful car and showing a glimpse in that garage while taking the hood of this amazing German car.
The painting is oil on treated paper and signed on the back.
