Chris Chun is an Australian Chinese artist and textile designer known for his work in contemporary chinoiserie, a distinctly modern twist on traditional Chinese art that combines vibrant colour and pattern with his love of nature and the environment. His art also incorporates elements of fengshui to create harmony, joy and positive energy for their owners.
Chris creates originals and limited edition prints that are snapped up by collectors who have coined his style ’Chunoiserie’ and affectionately refer to themselves as ‘Chunistas’.
Featured in SMH, Belle magazine, Design Sponge, and various publications around the world, Chris today divides his time working between Asia and Australia, exhibiting as an artist and collaborating with clients all over the world.
