Best of The Artling: 2022 Highlights

The world re-opened, and we were pleased to still see strong interest in supporting artists and designers from all over the world. Best of The Artling: 2021 Highlights

Despite continued challenges with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are pleased to have continued to be able to provide artists and designers with a platform to share their works with the world, and for our customers to discover new and exciting artists. Palazzo Monti - Is this Italy's most stunning artist residency?
Palazzo Monti is an artist residency programme with an exhibition space and private collection located in the heart of Brescia, Italy. As an incubator for creativity and productivity, Palazzo Monti is a cultural centre, offering artists a chance to find inspiration, forge new relationships, and create collaborations. The independent residency was founded in 2017 by Edoardo Monti, an art collector and curator from Bergamo, Italy. Palazzo Monti's mission is to become one of the most relevant players for artist’s residencies programmes, recognised among the international creative scene, with contemporary art as the main focus and design as an additional one.

Straits Clan and The Artling Present Creative Studio: 'The Closing Exhibition'
To celebrate the conclusion of its inaugural four-month residency, Straits Clan and The Artling are proud to present Creative Studio: The Closing Exhibition, featuring a collection of new works developed by the four local artists throughout the course of the residency. The programme launched in February 2021, and the four artists selected were André Wee, Dawn Ang (a.k.a Aeropalmics), Masuri Mazlan, and Tiffany Loy. Update: We’ve unfortunately had to close the exhibition early due to the latest Singapore government measures, but we hope you’ll be able to enjoy the exhibition and artworks digitally! Julius Baer Next Generation Art Prize Winners!
Julius Baer, the leading Swiss private banking group, recently launched the inaugural Julius Baer Next Generation Art Prize, with an open call to Southeast Asian artists, aged 18 to 40, to send in their digital art creations in the form of moving or still images. At closing bell, the first-time art prize received a total of 204 entries.
